ServiceTec Airport Services International Ltd. is certified in the following three ISO standards:
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
- ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Service Management System
- ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System
Internal ServiceTec staff can view the certificates by visiting the Management System portal page here.
To summarize this year’s ISO activities thus far, the following has occurred:
- External LRQA Surveillance Audit for ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System certificate (June 2024)
- Continue to close gaps identified in preparation for the transition to the new Information Security Management System ISO/IEC 27001:2022
- Ongoing annual internal audits of all ServiceTec Operational sites and departments
For the remainder of 2024, the program will proceed with the following:
- ISO 9001 and 20000 Focus External LRQA Audit (September/October 2024)
- Continued transition work for 27001:2022 with the aim to transition to the new standard in Q2 2025
- Continued internal audits of all ServiceTec Operational sites and departments
These are the areas where you can help:
- Although everyone would have been introduced to ISO during induction training, it could be that some time has passed since your last review of ISO or you may require a refresher, please visit the “Awareness” page in the Management system portal here and review the slide decks available to you. You never know when an auditor may want to speak with you and test your knowledge of ISO.
- Everyone needs to be aware of the Management System Policy found here.
- Everyone needs to be aware of what certifications we currently have and where they are saved. Please click here for that information and to view our certificates in the ServiceTec Management System.
- Everyone needs to do their part in ensuring their site portals are up-to-date.
- Process and procedure documents need to be reviewed at least once per year to ensure validity, and that they reflect what the actual process is. All records and logs also need to be up-to-date.
- Site Managers and Team Leads need to ensure their Competency Matrix is up-to-date, with all the names of their staff and that the appropriate skill levels are set
- Site Managers and Team Leads are to ensure their site Service Catalogues are up-to-date and available for viewing on their site portals.
- Report any security events or incidents to your direct manager immediately.
- Report any health and safety incidents to your manager immediately.
- Managers need to ensure new hires complete their onboarding tasks and mandatory trainings in the first two weeks of the start date. We do track this as an ISO Objective and the metric is reviewed monthly by the SASI Management team.
- Managers need to ensure all Google documents have an appropriate label. There are three labels that all documents can have: 1) Public 2) Private (default) 3) Confidential.
With your help, I am confident we can continue to maintain our certifications and in turn assist the business in proving we at ServiceTec are consistently providing services that meet the needs of our customers and other relevant stakeholders.
