As part of our ongoing support program for Materna IPS Self-Bag Drop systems for Spirit Airlines, ServiceTec now supports Materna’s Flex.Go Self Bag Drop units at Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). Materna, along with ServiceTec technicians, installed three double Flex.Go Self-Bag Drop units (six lanes) in July 2023. The service went live on September 6th, 2023. Thank you to the team members who participated in the installation, Max Crisp, Tony Donofrio, and Zeb Hashmi. Zeb and Tony have agreed to be our local technicians to provide on-call support and maintenance for these SSBD units. The next airport site will be Houston airport, which we expect to be installed in Q1 2024. ServiceTec now supports Materna’s SSBDs at six airport locations: ORD, LAX, DFW, ATL, MCO and DTW.
