Alister Albuquerque (LHR) - July 2023
Alister Albuquerque received a Quest Award for his effort and assistance in Munich. Nominated by his Manager, Kevin Walsh (Site Manager) and also endorsed by Richard Moody, Executive Vice President – EMEA, for his outstanding contribution and assistance providing staffing coverage and operational support for two weeks at our site in Munich Airport throughout May and June 2023
Matt Grandage (Emirates North) - September 2023
Matt Grandage, our Customer Service Engineer for Emirates North was awarded a Quest Award in September 2023:
“There was an urgent requirement from our customer for us to attend site after hours for a critical change related to network security. Even though Matt was meant to be having a family meal to celebrate his son’s successful completion of his A Levels, he kindly rearranged this at very short notice and came into site for the change. Our customer needed a physical presence on site, so the alternative would have been for his colleague to travel up North instead”.
Prem Khambhaita (Emirates South) - September 2023
Prem Khambhaita, our Customer Service Engineer for Emirates South was awarded a Quest Award in September 2023:
“His manager received a request from the customer who needed a physical presence at Emirates Call Centre in Manchester. Due to Prem’s colleague being on annual leave, Prem agreed to travel to Manchester at extremely short notice. He went ahead and booked his hotel and train after working a full day at Emirates London Town Office; he arrived at his hotel in Manchester around 10:00pm. Prem then liaised with the Contact Centre Manager, who collected him from the hotel very early the next morning and he attended the Call Centre for the duration of the change, ensuring there were no issues. The change was a last-minute emergency made by a supplier, which potentially could have severely impacted operations. The customer really appreciated our quick response and his Manager, Graham Hey was definitely impressed with how Prem handled himself in respect of this short notice request which was definitely above and beyond!”.
Bas Kuhlmann (AMS) – July 2023
Nominated for a Quest Award by Richard Moody, Executive Vice President – EMEA, for his outstanding contribution and assistance providing staffing coverage and operational support for four weeks at our site in Munich Airport throughout May and June 2023.
Jori Spijker (AMS) – July 2023
Nominated for a Quest Award by his Manager, Sander Opdam, Site Manager and also endorsed by Richard Moody, Executive Vice President – EMEA, for stepping into the role of Deputy Team Leader during his colleague’s absence. Jori showed excellent leadership skills, whilst his normal job description doesn’t include any requirement to do so. He displayed a deep sense of responsibility and a passion for driving the team forward. Moreover, his ability to connect with his fellow team members, who themselves were relatively new to the Company. Jori proved to be incredibly helpful to all of his team members, and therefore invaluable to the entire service that the company delivers”.
