As part of our ongoing support program for Materna IPS Self-Serve Bag Drop systems for Spirit Airlines, ServiceTec now supports Materna’s new Flex.Go Self Service Bag Drop units at Orlando International Airport (MCO). This is the largest SSBD installation site for Spirit Airlines in America with 19 x lanes. The installation started at the end of March with ServiceTec providing 3 x technicians to unbox, assemble, install, and test all SSBDs. The service went live on June 7th, 2023. Thank you to the team members who participated in the installations Erick Martinez, Max Crisp, and Rafael Corporan. Erick and Max have agreed to stay on as part time technicians to provide on-call support and maintenance for these SSBD units. We have been told by Materna that the next airport sites will be Detroit, followed by Houston airport. ServiceTec now supports Materna’s SSBDs at five airport locations – ORD, LAX, DFW, ATL and MCO.
