I am delighted to be able to begin this edition of our newsletter by sharing more positive news with all of you. It has been a particularly progressive and successful year, where the Group not only achieved the financial budget for the year, but we also remained steadfastly on course to accomplish our ambitious five-year objective to double the size of our group. This latest achievement is a testament to your dedication and hard work, we must all be proud of the strides we’ve made together.
We surpassed our target for the year by expanding our global footprint and successfully opening seven new locations! This expansion is thanks to the collective efforts of our talented team.
The pursuit of technical excellence is at the heart of our company values. In my last update at Christmas, I announced that we had obtained the ISO 20000 Certification for IT Service Management. This prestigious accreditation underscores our commitment to delivering the highest standards of outsourced IT Service Management. Our whole teams’ dedication and expertise have been instrumental in achieving ISO certification in 9001, 20000 and 27001. Elsewhere in this edition Adriano writes further on our new task to maintain all of these certifications going forward.
The recent Passenger Terminal Exhibition (PTE) held in Amsterdam in March provided us with a perfect platform to showcase our capabilities and catch up with the key decision makers at numerous stakeholder businesses. With over 270 exhibitors and an incredible +10,000 visitors, it was the largest show to date. It was a particularly successful event with several promising leads and conversations fast developing into potential opportunities across the business.
Some of members of the Board had the privilege of visiting Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) and meeting with three of our important customers at the airport. Their appreciation and praise for the exceptional services we provide reaffirm our commitment to delivering excellence and building strong customer relationships.
Lynne and I were also able to take the AMS team on an outstanding boat trip along the scenic Amsterdam canals. It was a fantastic opportunity to bond and create some fun memories. I have shared some pictures below.
During the Group Management Meeting (GMM) in May we took stock of our progress and examined some emerging opportunities together. There was a strong focus on paving the way for our continued growth and identifying areas for improvement and we are excited about the prospects that lie ahead. On day two, we changed our focus slightly for the RoW Update Meeting, where we gained valuable insights into the most recent activities and emerging opportunities across our European sites specifically. As always, the exchange of knowledge and best practices among our teams has been invaluable.
Looking forward, the coming year is filled with numerous promising opportunities that we can use to propel us towards the new budget year. Together, we are poised for success, and I am sure we will face the inevitable challenges with confidence.
Lastly, I would like to extend our gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and important contributions over the last 12 months. It is your commitment and passion that drive our achievements, and we are privileged to have such an exceptional team.
As we forge ahead, let’s continue in true ServiceTec style, personifying a culture of support and encouragement, as we agree our next set of ambitious milestones and work together to knock those out of the park as well!
