KARTING
On 5th May, the LHR (London Heathrow) team came together for another karting team event, which was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who took part. The slippery track took some getting used to and caused a number of collisions early on, but the team soon found their rhythm and showed clear improvement during the second stint. Beyond the racing itself, it was a fantastic chance to spend time together outside the usual working environment, strengthen team spirit, and enjoy some well-earned fun.
VIDTRONIX REPLACEMENT
In June, we started a Vidtronix replacement project for BA in Terminal 5. The Vidtronix printers have been in use since T5 opened in 2008, but they are now beyond end-of-life and have become increasingly problematic to support. As a result, they are being replaced with Custom TK180 devices, providing a more reliable and future-ready solution for the operation. This project marks another important step in maintaining the resilience and performance of critical airport systems.
