Matt Grandage, our Northern Emirates-based engineer, completed a cyber security Bootcamp off his own back and in his own time, this involved home and training centre study.
He subsequently approached ServiceTec to see if we could support him on a journey as a cyber security apprentice. At the end of the apprenticeship, he will have a City and Guilds Level 4 in Cyber Security specialising as a Cyber Engineer. He will also have to pass the CompTIA Security + exam and once completed he can start studying toward the CompTIA PenTest + qualification. We managed to get the apprentice levy-funded so there is no cost to ServiceTec. He has now embarked on this training programme and I will provide further updates as we get them.
